STORY – Distributors and food manufacturers have until midnight on Wednesday to agree on purchase prices. With inflation and political pressures, the year was tougher than ever.

According to the law, distributors and manufacturers of agri-food and consumer products have until midnight on Wednesday to conclude their annual price negotiations.

And agree on the price at which retailers buy big brand products.

Traditionally contentious, these negotiations, which started in the fall, this year sparked debates of unprecedented intensity.
