As planned, after the meeting of the National Commission for Work in Private Homes,
the first salary update for 2023 was defined on Tuesday,
which will apply to the five categories of domestic workers.

increase will be 27%
over the minimum remuneration of personnel who perform domestic tasks, to be paid in three installments of
14% in April, 7% in May and 6% in June
.
The new increases will not be cumulative.
And
on July 25 they will make a new review of the agreement.
Despite the agreement that was closed this Tuesday, domestic employees who are paid monthly
will receive in April the 4% agreed for March
that formed the last tranche of increase agreed in November 2022. That increase was for a total of 24% divided in four stages: 8% in December, January 7%, February 5% and March 4%.
That same segment must wait until May to receive the 14% increase agreed for the fourth month of the year, which is part of the new 27% increase, the rest will arrive in May and June.
The adjustment took as a parameter the Minimum, Vital and Mobile Salary (SMVM) which will become $80,342 in April
and will rise to $87,987 in July.

The three increases will be applied to the last tranche of the joint agreement agreed in November, which for March prior to a 4% rise.
