Contaminated Buitoni pizzas: Nestlé announces the closure of the Caudry factory


The presence of E.Coli bacteria in Fraîch'up pizzas had caused the contamination of 56 people and the death of two children a year ago.

A year after the resounding scandal of pizzas infected with E.Coli bacteria which caused the contamination of 56 people and the death of two children, the 113 employees of the site are finally set on their fate.

Stopped since the beginning of the month, the Caudry factory will be closed, according to a union source present at the CSE which is currently being held and a press release sent to AFP.
