Fixed telephone, mobile and internet connections in the four municipalities of Belle-Ile-en-mer as well as in Quiberon are interrupted on Friday morning, announced the Morbihan prefecture, indicating that everything is being done to restore them.

A malfunction is currently observed (…) on the fixed, mobile and internet telephone networks of operators in the municipalities of Belle-Ile and Quiberon
”, indicates the prefecture in a press release.

State services are working with operators to restore the situation as soon as possible
," she said.

To deal with this situation, the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service (SDIS) of Morbihan is setting up a guard stationed at the Intervention and Rescue Center (CIS) of Palais”, the main town
of island.
“
In the event of an emergency, to contact the Morbihan fire brigade (18/112) or the emergency services, go directly to the rescue center in Palais or Quiberon or to the emergency room at Belle-Ile hospital where personnel are mobilized on each of the sites to take care of you
”, informs the prefecture, specifying that, in addition to Quiberon on the mainland, “
the four municipalities of the island, Le Palais, Sauzon, Bangor and Locmaria are affected by this dysfunction
”.
