Elon Musk, the boss of Twitter, Tesla and SpaceX, will be present as a speaker at the 7th edition of the VivaTech show, one of the world's major tech meetings, scheduled in Paris from June 14 to 17, its organizers announced Thursday. With Marc Benioff, CEO and co-founder of the American IT group specializing in customer relationship software Salesforce, also expected in Paris, Elon Musk will visit the show and speak at the rostrum.
Maurice Lévy, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Publicis Groupe, founder of the event with the group Les Echos-Le Parisien, will give him the answer. The event is expected to welcome more than 2,200 exhibitors, 10% more than in 2022 and extend over 20% more surface area at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.

Other speakers include Amazon CTO Werner Vogels, Orange CEO Christel Heydemann and PayPal Dan Schulman, Alibaba J. Michael Evans and LVMH CEO Bernard Arnault. Tony Estanguet, head of the organizing committee of the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, must also be present.
Some 10,000 start-ups will come or be represented at VivaTech, which has more than fifty major partner companies, including Amazon, which is becoming a major sponsor. Public actors will also be present, including ten French regions, the public bank BpiFrance and research organizations such as CNRS and Inria. Internationally, 32 countries will present their ecosystem.
Among the key topics, artificial intelligence, which has become mainstream since the launch of ChatGPT, but also clean energy and start-ups at the service of the climate. Among the innovations, a ski mask with augmented reality, an exoskeleton for caregivers, a startup that wakes up sleepy drivers, a dialogue with an artificial Van Gogh...
VivaTech also wants to promote women in tech as well as "femtech", these start-ups dedicated to the well-being of women. In 2022, the show welcomed more than 91,000 visitors. As every year, it will open its doors to the general public for one day, on June 17.
