“Siege of Paris”, actions on the main roads, blockade of Lyon…. The mobilization of farmers continues at the start of the week so

A “week of all dangers”.

This was announced this Sunday by the boss of the powerful FNSEA Arnaud Rousseau.

After a lull and the lifting of numerous blocking points this weekend, farmers are resuming their actions with a vengeance this Monday morning.

Starting with a “siege of the capital”, announced by the FNSEA and Young Farmers (JA) unions of the Paris Basin.

The mobilization of farmers also continues throughout France.

In total, around fifty blockages should be put in place during the day.

At the end of the interministerial Crisis Unit with the Minister of Agriculture Marc Fesneau, the Minister of the Interior Gérald Darmanin recalled the three main instructions: “that tractors do not enter large cities;

that the Rungis market can continue to operate as well as the major airports.”

In total, nearly 15,000 police officers and gendarmes will be mobilized throughout the country.

Update on the situation.

In Île-de-France

As we revealed on Sunday, the blockade of Paris, planned from 2 p.m., will be organized around seven blockade points.

They will be located on the A1, A4, A5, A6, A12, A13 and A15.

The dams should all be built within a radius of 30 to 40 kilometers around the capital, as Arnaud Rousseau recalled on RTL this Monday morning.

blockages in Ile de France

Under these conditions, the Paris police headquarters recommends that Ile-de-France residents “favor public transport” for their travel in Île-de-France.”

A snail operation is underway on the N 104 towards Ris-Orangis.

Especially since this morning, taxis have already started to gather on the A13 to launch a snail operation towards Paris with the aim of getting to the Ministry of Health in Paris.

In the West and South West

If actions are planned in the Quimper region in Brittany, the biggest blockages take place around Nantes.

The A 11 motorway between Le Mans and Nantes will be blocked at Durtal and the A87 at Cholet.

Several departments or towns should also be impacted such as Chateaubriand, La Roche-sur-Yon and Ancenis.

In Clisson, farmers and wine growers announced a “peaceful” visit to the Leclerc de Clisson and the Intermarché d’Aigrefeuille-sur-Maine, from 8:30 a.m.

They hear about prices and margins with the managers of these two supermarkets.

The return will be made at very low speed, via departmental road 137, to the intersection between Saint-Lumine-de-Clisson and Remouillé, where a filter dam will be installed.

Furthermore, the Bordeaux ring road is disrupted with several hundred taxis coming from several departments in the region.

In the south

In Aix-en-Provence, a large gathering of farmers is planned from 7 a.m. on the A51 and the N 296. In Marseille, snail-like taxi operations are to take place on the A50, A7 and A55.

In Toulouse, the Toulouse ring road should be slow for a good part of the morning.

The taxis have planned a snail operation on the ring road from 7:30 a.m. before going to the prefecture at 12:30 p.m.

Toulouse airport should also be difficult to access with filter barriers, especially since buses will not run.

In the North and East

Belgian farmers have joined French farmers at the border and are blocking the crossing point to Sedan.

In the Center and Rhône Alpes

Farmers from the FRSEA Auvergne - Rhône-Alpes decided to blockade the city of Lyon this Monday, January 29.

“We have a common strategy with our friends from the Ile-de-France region who are going to block Paris from 2 p.m. tomorrow.

We have the objective of blocking Lyon, the second city in France,” assures its president Michel Joux to our colleagues from France 3.

According to him, the movement could spread around all the largest cities in France.

“We also have, with other colleagues from other regions, the objective of blocking in the coming days all the other major cities: Marseille, Toulouse and even Bordeaux,” he lists.

The days to come promise to be eventful.

The A6 at Villefranche-sur-Saône is expected to be blocked all day.

The same goes for the A 40 in Cluses from 9:30 a.m.

The A41 and A43 motorways should also be blocked.

Please note that taxi demonstrations are planned in almost all the capitals of the departments of the Auvergne - Rhône-Alpes region according to the authorities.
