In the middle of the 2024 summer season,
17 buildings and 215 mansions declared as vacant land
were detected in the city of
Pinamar
, according to a survey reported by the Collection Agency of the province of Buenos Aires (ARBA).
What was detected in violation represents
more than 70,000 square meters built that were not declared to the treasury
, so developers and owners evaded the Real Estate Tax.
“These properties were, for the most part, declared as vacant land
before the cadastre
,” explained the head of the organization, Cristian Girard.
The official highlighted the contribution of technology, such as
drones and satellite images
, during the procedures to confirm irregularities.
In #Pinamar, within the framework of the usual control and inspection actions, we notified developers of 17 buildings
and 215 luxury houses that were declared vacant.
Altogether, they add up to 70,000 m2 built that were undeclared to the treasury.

According to the authorities, those responsible must face
fines of up to 25 million pesos.
Once the inconsistency was detected, those responsible were
summoned
and have 15 days to rectify their sworn statement, correctly reporting the meters.
After this period, if they do not react, ARBA carries out an ex officio determination, which incorporates the detected constructions and applies the corresponding fines.
In Mar del Plata, too
ARBA's actions in Pinamar also included joint controls with the Buenos Aires Ministry of Transportation and the Buenos Aires Police, to detect luxury cars with debt and other violations on beaches such as
La Frontera
.
Of the total high-end vehicles controlled, 180 were located in the province of Buenos Aires.
Of them,
47 had patent debt
, which represents a level of delinquency of 26% among the vehicles inspected.
The owners of vehicles with debt signed payment commitments for an amount of almost 10 million pesos, while the rest received notices for almost $11 million.
Last week there were
similar operations in Mar del Plata
, where more than 120,000 undeclared square meters were detected, belonging to 57 high-rise buildings and more than 200 houses in gated communities.
