The Greenerwave project receives the support of three major manufacturers: the engine manufacturer Safran, the American telecoms satellite operator Intelsat and the automotive supplier Plastic Omnium.
These three companies have joined the pool of historic shareholders - notably Bpifrance, the Defense Innovation Fund and funds such as Kima, created by Xavier Niel -, which supplemented a fundraising of 15 million euros, announced the start -up French, this Wednesday.
Together, the investors now hold some 30% of the capital of the start-up created in 2016. It comes from the Langevin research institute (CNRS, ESPCI), in Paris, specializing in wave physics.
The young company is developing a smart antenna and a new generation radar, based on electromagnetic wave control technology.
