Since the summer of 2020, Bastien Gautier's young shoot has been growing visibly.

With now 4 takeaway grocery stores and caterers in Paris, Champs Libres happily takes up the challenge of bringing the countryside to the city.

Behind this project?

A gastronomy enthusiast from an agricultural background (some of his family's products can also be found in his points of sale).

His idea ?

Sow your seeds in the 11th and 12th arrondissements to introduce peasant agriculture to Parisians.

Creating links between our neighborhoods and our countryside

Like a real relay between the countryside and the cities, the Champs Libres Parisian grocery stores are designed like old-fashioned businesses.

Warm, welcoming and far from polluting supermarkets.

In these living spaces designed by architects Chayeb and Paradis: customers chat, salespeople advise them on recipes and shopping time becomes pleasant.

One of the 4 shops even has a small city terrace on which customers enjoy their specialty coffees roasted in Île-de-France.

Very different from the classic chore of racing!

From field to plate

With an unconditional love for eating well, Champs Libres offers a beautiful range of seasonal products: fruits & vegetables, a creamery section (with yogurts or raw milk cheeses), savory or sweet grocery products, meat and farm charcuterie, natural & organic wine, beer and fruit juices.

A selection from the hands of small, passionate and committed producers and artisans.

The Champs Libres team regularly takes the time to meet them in order to create and maintain real links.

Champs Libres focuses its entire project on a winning triptych between producers, consumers and collaborators.

The products are sold at the fairest price for both the grower and the customer.

Grocery stores are also keen to be real players in the neighborhood, organizing events inviting meetings whenever they have the opportunity: farmers' markets, theme evenings or other tastings open to all in store.

A gourmet and responsible lunchtime canteen

Still in this logic of promoting products, Chef Esteban joined the team to offer grocery store customers a lunch menu and gourmet and seasonal catering dishes, renewed every day.

It was by seeing the enthusiasm aroused by this Champs Libres cuisine that the team wanted to open a new store in the 11th arrondissement at 5 rue des Trois Couronnes, offering an even more comprehensive takeaway catering offer but also the best-selling products from grocery stores.

A la carte?

Comforting soups and quiches, seasonal salads, traditional and revisited mezzés, complete dishes with a strong preference for vegetables and gourmet desserts... In an obvious dynamic for the teams, on site nothing is lost: everything transforms !

This is how products damaged in the store are recovered in the responsible kitchen to finish (in sauce or even compote) on nicely plated plates.

A responsible, anti-waste logic welcomed by local residents.

A 100% tailor-made catering service

Alongside this new opening, Champs Libres' big project is to become a key player in the Parisian catering scene.

To respond to both private and professional events.

A brilliant vertical to ensure inaugurations, birthdays, afterworks, weddings or company lunches... Several formulas, centered around plants, are available: “cocktail” and its very high-end sophisticated pieces served during private receptions, “afterwork” and its pretty menu of tapas, platters and other buffet dishes to share or “meal trays” and its homemade and seasonal plates, like the lunch canteen present in grocery stores.

Building on its success, the Champs Libres company is multiplying new initiatives.

Always at the service of its customers and with the countryside as a cradle of entrepreneurship.

Next expected launch?

A range of preserves sold in store.

In a company of 25 employees, the range of possibilities seems endless!
