Return the product or destroy it
They exceeded the authorized limits of pesticides on: 1,4 dimethylnaphthalene, fludioxonil, prothioconazole desthio and bixafen.
However, it is not specified to what extent the maximum residue limits (MRLs) were exceeded.
MRLs “are the upper levels of pesticide residues legally permitted in or on food or feed, based on good agricultural practices (GAP) and the lowest exposure necessary to protect vulnerable consumers” , explains the EFSA (European Food Safety Authority).
If you purchased one of the lots affected by the recall, you should not consume it, return the product to the point of sale or destroy it.
