The Palestinian Authority criticized the freezing of aid, claiming that UNRA's internal investigation and the dismissal of the suspected employees is based on "information that came from the Zionist enemy."
As a result, UNRWA aid funds were frozen by a number of countries, when at the end of last month the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Finland joined the United States, Australia, and Canada in suspending funding. .
