Bertrand Piccard continues his fight for clean energy.
After having completed a world tour in seventeen stages with the experimental Solar Impulse aircraft, powered by solar energy, between March 2015 and July 2016, then creating the Solar Impulse foundation, the Swiss explorer and pilot reveals, this Wednesday, his new project.
This involves the development of a hydrogen plane, called Climate Impulse, with which Bertrand Piccard plans to travel around the world in eight days, without stopovers or assistance.
And without polluting emissions.
Objective?
Demonstrate, in a spectacular way, to the general public that cutting-edge solutions and technologies exist to meet the challenge of decarbonization.
