A recent survey by the Association for Executive Employment (Apec) highlights a serious problem: 71% of female executives who have recently taken maternity leave consider that companies are not taking the necessary actions to encourage their return to work.
They feel they are faced
with “a form of denial of the normality of motherhood
” on the part of certain companies “
which do not sufficiently take into account their new status as mothers
”.
