All it took was one click, an unfortunate click, to plunge the André Laurent company into turmoil for a few days, in November 2023. “One of our employees, inadvertently, opened a fraudulent email which aimed to steal all her money. professional address book", says Jean-Jacques Laurent, the president of this family SME specializing in bolts and screws near Saint-Étienne (Loire).

The hacker immediately used it to send undue invoices to around fifteen of the company's customers.

Fortunately, the scam stopped there.
