The President of Argentina and President Herzog visited Nir Oz: "The indifference of the 'free world' made this holocaust possible"
"We do a risk report in the company - we took into account the fall of an anti-tank missile, an anti-tank missile, or a rocket, we never thought about a group of terrorists entering Nir Oz and setting our factory on fire," said Omri Lotan, CEO of Nirlat, whose factory is in Nir Oz completely burned.
Lotan said these things as part of the Israel Construction Center (Real Estate City) conference that is taking place in Eilat these days.
The CEO of Nirlat said that "only two weeks after 7/10 we were allowed to enter our large factory in Nir Oz, which was completely burned and destroyed. Our factory It is a water plant, it is not supposed to catch fire, which shows that the terrorists penetrated it and physically set it on fire."
He describes the first entry into the burned factory: "A feeling that our privacy was invaded, that our home was invaded, that my house was burned down. We saw on the security cameras that the terrorists were playing with forklifts, it is unbearable to see such a thing. Just before the war, we invested NIS 50 million in renovating the factory and opened two additional lines , the last line opened right in October."

"In three years we will have a new factory and it will be in Nir Oz"/Itzik Biran
Lotan tells how the company adapted to the new situation during the war: "In the end, we manage to prove to ourselves that this company is not the factory but our employees. And they are helping us to rebuild the whole company. We formed a team of employees who are not evacuated, not in the reserves, not traumatized. They are all from the south from Ofakim to Beer Sheva".
He adds, "We looked for alternative ways, and started producing paint in Greece. Then we moved into the field of putty, we found a small competitor in Israel who fired all his workers, we took the factory from him, brought in our own workers and started producing.
We still haven't reached Schlicht, which is our strongest product."
Lotan adds and talks about the embrace the company has received. "Not only our employees inspire us, but so do our customers.
The Tadhar Group contacted us and asked for orders a year ahead to help us." He says about the competitor's surprising step, "On October 8, I received a contact from Tambor, our biggest competitor, and they asked how we could help."
Regarding the company's future, Lotan says, "Three more years We will have a new factory, something that has never been seen in the world, and it will be in Nir Oz."
