If until today the State of Israel managed to maintain peace among the Arab society during the war, it is possible that very soon this peace will be on the curb.
The reason: On Sunday, the transfer of the Land Enforcement Authority, the unit that enforces the demolition of houses built in violation of the law, from the Ministry of Finance to the Ministry of National Security, to the authority of Minister Itamar Ben Gabir, will come up for government approval.
The transfer of the enforcement authority in the land to Laban Gabir, which was agreed upon with him in the coalition agreements and is starting precisely now, when his remaining in the coalition depends on containment, could cause the area to be set on fire.
The heads of Arab authorities, who fear a flare-up following the demolition of residents' homes in the sector during the war, a period also characterized by great sensitivity, say that this is an irresponsible move.
"It's like letting a cat keep the cream, and it has a high percentage of fat," said Lavala, the official who was privy to the details.

One of the heads of the authorities in the sector said that "the move will have future negative effects. These days when the country is at war and fighting in the north, and those who want to talk about the day after - this is not the time"
The Land Enforcement Authority was established to combat planning and construction offenses, and to serve as a professional body for enforcement activities in the local committees.
It deals, among other things, with curbing the new illegal construction, handles construction offenses throughout the country, and operates enforcement mechanisms against illegal construction.
The fact that Ben Gvir will be the one to lead enforcement and demolition of houses in the Arab sector is already causing unrest there and may worsen if and when it actually begins.
