PORTRAIT - After working for several years for Levi's and Primark, the new human resources director joined the optical chain, a year and a half after the arrival of Anthony Afflelou, the founder's last son.


Sandrine Sabourin leads transformations on a daily basis.

His house and garden are no exception.

“I like it when things are constantly evolving

,” comments Afflelou’s new human resources director, who loathes routine.

She discovered her future career within an IT company, Alfatronic, rising through the ranks to take on the position of Deputy HR Director.

A career full of challenges

Then, one of the administrators poached her to help him rethink a manufacturer of electronic components, Secme, taken over by the Swiss EAO.

She devoted four years to this mission, before joining the denim emperor Levi Strauss in 1999.

“It corresponded to a pivotal period, the transition from a local to matrix organization,”

she enthuses.

We operated according to Anglo-Saxon codes.”

After seven years, however, she found that habits had taken hold.

She accepted the proposal from the hearing aid brand Amplifon to supervise the integration…
