Benoît Aubry has, he says, “rediscovered the desire to get up for work”.

For several days, the dairy cow breeder, based in Ballots (Mayenne), has been delivering his milk to a new client, the LSDH factory (partner of the “Who’s the boss?” brand), near Cholet ( Maine-et-Loire).

In doing so, he broke with the Lactalis factory in Craon, which had been buying milk from its prim'holsteins for more than fifty years.

“I couldn’t find myself there anymore.

Relations were never positive,” breathes the breeder.

“Everything is done through conflict,” believes Christophe Cesbron, based in Melay (Maine-et-Loire), who will also soon sell his milk to the Cholet factory.

The relationships are legal and complicated.

» The new dairy attracted a few dozen producers previously linked to Lactalis.
