according to the survey carried out by the Consumer Education Services and Advice Center (CESyAC),
The most relevant increases in the category of mass consumption products were in
cleaning products (31.49%)
and packaged groceries (23.59%).
Within basic services, what rose the most were buses (45%), prepaid medicine (40%) and subways (37.5%).
This report tracks the prices of the basket of food and services, among several items, housing rent, the expenses of a 10-year-old car, the prepaid medicine subscription, the fee for a two-year private school. children and the family subscription in a club.

In an interannual comparison, sky-high increases were also detected in the same product such as rice (500 gr), which became 772.32% more expensive (it cost $159.13 in February 2023 and is currently worth $1,388.14).
Meanwhile, mostachole noodles went from $193.45 to $992.40, which represents a variation of 413% in one year.
The 500gr Yerba Mate was worth $439 a year ago, while now it is $1,961.61 (346.86% more expensive).

In January, the Consumer Price Index, which the INDEC uses to measure inflation, increased by 20.6%, bringing accumulated year-on-year inflation to 254.2%.
All in all, last month's inflation was below the 25.5% that was recorded in December and the calculation of 21.9% estimated by the consulting firms that participated in the Survey of Market Expectations (REM) carried out by the Central Bank. (BCRA).
Like private medications such as Cecyac, the item with the greatest increase in the month was "Miscellaneous goods and services" with 44.4%, as a result of the increase in Personal Care items.
It was followed by "Transportation", with 26.3%, due to the increases in public transportation and the drag of the increase in fuel, along with "Communication", with 25.1%, due to the increase in telephone and internet services.
