Since February 15, TGV inOui and Intercités passengers are now limited to two bags per person.

This news spotted by Le Figaro was communicated on the SNCF travelers website.

Users are now entitled to a first piece of baggage “with maximum dimensions of 70 x 90 x 50 cm (suitcase, large backpack, hiking bag, sports bag) and labeled hand luggage with maximum dimensions of 40 x 30 x 15 cm (backpack, shopping bag, computer bag),” indicates the SNCF.

No verbalization until September 15

Large objects such as a stroller, musical instrument, skis or even a snowboard do not count as baggage.

Passengers who travel with this type of object are therefore entitled to “one large baggage and one hand baggage”, underlines the SNCF.
