A powerful boss of a major French bank taking the field of his own free will is rare, if not ever seen.
However, this is what decided, at only 58 years old, Nicolas Théry, president for ten years of Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale, which brings together 14 of the 19 federations of the Crédit Mutuel group and whose headquarters is in Strasbourg.
Re-elected to this position in May 2022, his mandate runs until 2025. To everyone's surprise, Nicolas Théry announced this Tuesday that he will leave his position at the beginning of April.
“I want to have another personal balance and make better use of my free time, even if I have not yet defined how,” confides the manager to Le Figaro.
