Retirees: how much they will earn in March with the increase and to whom the $70,000 bonus corresponds

2024-02-29T16:44:33.152Z

Highlights: Retirees and pensioners will receive a nominal increase due to the current mobility formula, this increase translates into 27.18% more. To that we must also add the bonus of $70,000 that the beneficiaries who have the lowest assets will receive. The Government seeks to ensure that no retiree will receive less than $204,445 in March. With these values, the minimum assets will have a loss in purchasing power of 33% compared to March 2023. And those who did not and will not collect the bonus, the loss rises to 44% in 12 months.

What is the minimum and maximum asset? And the entire ANSeS payment schedule.

Retirees and pensioners will receive a nominal increase due to the current mobility formula, this

increase translates into 27.18% more

.

And to that we must also add

the bonus of $70,000 that the beneficiaries who have the lowest assets will receive

.

In this way, the Government seeks to ensure that no retiree will receive less than $204,445 in March.

Article 1 of the regulations establishes that

the minimum asset will be $134,445.30, but with the bonus the sum will go to $204,445.

Those who receive an amount less than that will receive an extra proportional sum until that mark is reached.

And those above that value will not have the extra benefit.

It is important to clarify that beneficiaries with assets of less than $204,445 will receive a proportional bonus until they reach that amount.

Thus, for example, a retiree with an asset of $150,000 will not receive the full bonus, but rather a little more than $54,000, until reaching that mark.

Meanwhile, according to article 2 of the Resolution,

the maximum asset will amount to $904,689.54.

With these values, the minimum assets will have a loss in purchasing power of 33% compared to March 2023. And those who did not and will not collect the bonus, the loss rises to 44% in 12 months.
