Veolia wants to reconcile ecology and the economy.
The environmental services giant has just published its strategic plan for the next four years, called GreenUp!.
“We are at a crossroads,”
explained Estelle Brachlianoff, the general director of Veolia, in front of an audience of investors and journalists.
Before us is the ecology which punishes, which pits individuals, associations, businesses and countries against each other.
Or the ecology that protects, by decarbonizing, by depolluting, by regenerating.
The ecology which protects health, well-being and purchasing power, strategic autonomy and the attractiveness of territories, the competitiveness of manufacturers.
The operational boss of Veolia feels all the more comfortable saying this as the group offers solutions to help citizens, communities and businesses.
