The American Congress adopted Thursday, February 29, by a final vote of the Senate, a text which postpones by one week the threat of a partial budgetary paralysis of the federal State in the middle of the electoral campaign, after an agreement reached the day before between elected officials Democrats and Republicans.
The text, which must still be promulgated by President Joe Biden, plans to extend the federal state budget until March 8, and thus avoid this paralysis, which would have led to a temporary closure of many administrations and public services.
