A major national cause of Emmanuel Macron's first and second five-year term, equality between men and women has gradually made its way into the business world.
This Friday, March 1, marks the deadline for publication of the equality index for companies with more than 50 employees.
Established in 2019, this 100-point rating allows the State to monitor the state of professional equality in French companies.
Four years later, the results appear rather convincing in the eyes of the executive who is pleased to see companies taking advantage of this tool.
While only 54% of them handed in their grade in 2020, 72% fulfilled their duty in 2023. If more and more of them are subject to this calculation, the fact remains that the latter is complex, particularly for smaller structures, not necessarily equipped to produce this data.
