This is not the first time that Anouk Grinberg has denounced secrecy in the world of cinema and spoken out about Gérard Depardieu.
This Tuesday, March 5, the actress once again returned to the actor's actions, at the AFP microphone.
The latter shared the screen with him on the film Les
Volets Verts
by Jean Becker, in 2022. A complicated shoot, after which a member of the team filed a complaint against the interpreter of Les
Valseuses
for sexual assault, as the
Mediapart
reported
on February 25.
“What people saw in
Complément d’investigation
(the show dedicated to Gérard Depardieu in December 2023, on France 2,
Editor’s note
), is pretty much soft compared to what I saw on
Les Volets vertes
, and I'm not the only one, we've all seen it, we've all heard it (...).
From morning to evening, we had the right to his salaceries,” declared Anouk Grinberg.

And to continue: “When film producers hire Depardieu, they know that they are hiring an aggressor.
Not a potential aggressor: an aggressor (...) I always heard him make sexual, serious remarks, but it got very, very seriously worse, with the permission of the profession which pays him for that, and which covers his crimes ".
The 60-year-old actress went further to denounce the law of silence that reigns in the world of the 7th art.
“On certain films with Depardieu, we tell the team before filming: if there is the slightest problem, you keep quiet.
If you speak out, you're fired.
It's effective.
(...) People are afraid for their apple, afraid of losing their job and afraid of not being believed,” she added.
“I changed my life”
Ex-wife of Bertrand Blier, one of Gérard Depardieu's favorite filmmakers, the actress explains that she wanted to "change her life", as if to escape the toxicity of this environment.
“After being demolished by Blier and his cinema, I spent ten years away from that, and during these ten years, I didn't do anything, I thought.
Afterwards, there are very important encounters which allow us to be revealed to ourselves, to have access to our truth.
(...) Six years ago, I met Charlotte Arnould, who at that time was very, very alone, devastated by what she had just suffered,” she declared.
Charlotte Arnould (24 years old) was one of the first to file a complaint against Depardieu for two rapes perpetrated in August 2018 in the actor's private mansion.
Two complaints were first dismissed, then reiterated by the complainant in 2020, leading to an indictment, currently open.
To date, the actor is the target of five complaints for “rape and sexual assault”.
In total, 15 women accuse him of sexist and sexual violence, although he denies the facts.
In April 2023,
Mediapart
reported the testimony of thirteen women claiming “to have suffered inappropriate sexual gestures or remarks”.
Last October, Anouk Grinberg already spoke in
Elle
, assuring that “all those who have worked with Depardieu know that he attacks women”.
