New thunderclap in mass distribution in France.
Système U will see its store network expand by 13 hypermarkets from January 2025, to which 114 supermarkets and 241 local convenience stores could be added.
To achieve such a coup, the group of independent traders entered into a surprise alliance with the family distribution group Schiever, the main partner… of Auchan.

The 13 Auchan hypermarkets in Schiever will therefore come under the Hyper U brand at the start of next year;
if nothing is definitive for the other stores of the Burgundian group, its former Attac supermarkets (a brand of the Auchan group) and its convenience stores could display the Super U and U logos…
