The Garmin group's results came last month and they are very good.
All the counters are showing green with a turnover of 5.2 billion dollars (around 4.8 billion euros) worldwide in 2023 (+ 8% compared to 2022).
If outdoor shows a slight stagnation (-1%), in all other major areas of activity, euphoria dominates with an increase of +49% for automobiles (on-board GPS systems ), + 7% in aviation, + 1% in the navy and + 21% for fitness!
“Our two big markets are America and Europe, but we are growing on all continents,” says Éric Bernard, general manager for France and Benelux of the US giant, with a frank smile.
If the fitness segment is progressing so much, it owes it to several factors.
