This Thursday, March 7, France Travail launched the creation of a brand new simulator platform with the aim of helping unemployed people discover the assistance to which they are entitled.
This platform, available at https://candidat.francetravail.fr/portail-simulateurs/allocations-et-aides/parcours/votre-situation, acts as a support for job seekers who sometimes have difficulty truly evaluating the amount of their aid, explains France Travail.
“Depending on whether you have lost a job, whether you are about to return to professional activity, whether you wish to create a business or resign, it is not always easy to find clear, reliable information and quickly", especially since compensation is considered by many job seekers as "one of the first concerns when faced with the loss of a job or a change of professional activity", indicates France Travail.
This portal actually “facilitates the estimation of allowances and aid”, and guarantees, according to an operator, “that in less than a minute, job seekers, active employees, self-employed workers, compensated by France Travail , beneficiaries of the Active Solidarity Income (RSA) or people without an allowance, can now have in a few clicks a clear view of the allowances or aid to which they are entitled.
“Relevant and adapted” information
The platform only asks for your date of birth, your postal code and some information about your professional situation before finally providing you with the “most relevant and appropriate” information.
Obviously, not all situations have a dedicated simulator, but an entertainment worker can, for example, calculate the amount of his allowances by providing some information such as his hours worked, his job category or his reference salary.
France Travail indicates that all possible aid/allowances (return to employment assistance allowance, childcare assistance, professional security allowance, CAF or MSA aid, etc.) are provided on the site.
