This is good news at a time when the government is chasing savings.

The bonus which has allowed, since 2017, to benefit from assistance with the purchase of a new bicycle is now available for the second-hand market and all types of cycles (classic, electric and cargo).

The decree which provides for the extension of the system until 2027 was published in the Official Journal on February 12.

This bonus, which aims to promote gentle and clean mobility, varies from 150 euros for a classic muscle bike to 400 euros for an electrically assisted bicycle (VAE), and even between 1,000 and 2,000 euros for a cargo model.

Please note, not all buyers are in the same boat, since the bonus is adjustable depending on income.

The executive has retained two tax thresholds: a first equal to or less than 7,100 euros (reference tax income per share) and a last at 15,100 euros.

If you exceed this final ceiling, you will not be able to benefit from it.

Example for the purchase of an VAE: for the first threshold, the aid will amount to 400 euros, and for the second to 300 euros.
