The hotel giant Accor signs its return to the CAC 40, the flagship index of the Paris Stock Exchange, while Alstom, railway manufacturer, is being pushed towards the exit, Euronext announced Thursday in a press release.
Accor was removed from the CAC 40 in June 2020, having suffered the full brunt of the consequences of the coronavirus pandemic on the tourism and hospitality sector.
This exit then allowed Alstom to return to the index.
