After the opening of reservations for spring holidays at the end of January, sales are now launched for journeys until 5 d

Great start for your pre-summer reservations.

The SNCF is opening TGV Inoui and Intercités routes for sale this Thursday, March 7, for the period from May 23 to July 5, the eve of the summer school holidays.

This short period follows the spring holidays in several areas, but especially the traditional May bridges which many French people take advantage of each year.

Book early for more choices

The SNCF advises travelers to book as soon as sales open to have a maximum chance of having availability on a maximum number of journeys and to have more choice of timetables and places on the train, and thus have "more lucky to be sitting together when you are in a group.”

To travel with Ouigo, however, reservations are only available for sale 45 days before departure, approximately 1 and a half months.

It is therefore not yet possible to book for the months of May and June.

For TER, the opening deadline is set on a case-by-case basis depending on the region 3 to 5 months before the date of the journey, as specified by the SNCF on its website.

The date to reserve summer tickets finally known

Trips in Europe managed by SNCF (Germany, Belgium, Spain and Switzerland) were already available for sale since February 26, for a period from May 23 to August 26.

Eurostar sales (UK, Belgium) are also already open.

Finally, if you want to reserve tickets for this summer, you will have to wait a little longer: the opening of sales for journeys from July 6 to September 11 will take place this Wednesday, March 13.

It will concern TGVs, Intercités, but also Ouigo (for trips until December 14).
