A specially adapted electric scooter that can be clipped to your wheelchair in just a few seconds: this is the innovation developed by Omni, grand prize in the Lépine 2021 competition. Equipped with 70 km of autonomy, capable of a maximum speed of 25 km/h, and sold at a much lower price than an electric wheelchair (from €1,000 to €2,000 for the most powerful model), it allows you to easily overcome obstacles (pavers, slopes, sidewalks, etc.).

1.8 million euros raised to develop
After two years of research and development, Omni has already attracted more than 1,000 customers (aged 14 to… 92 years!) and is showing growth of more than 60%.
With a second fundraising of 1.8 million euros carried out at the end of 2023, the company intends to accelerate its development by expanding its offering and optimizing its production costs.
It is estimated that there are 1.8 million people with motor disabilities in France, and 25 million in Europe.
