Unheard of since 2016. Last year, precisely 51,555 bosses lost their jobs.

According to the Altares company and the GSC (Social Guarantee for Business Managers) association, which specializes in covering unemployment for employers, at the origin of this study, this is the worst figure for seven years.

At the time (2015), with slowing global growth and battered stock prices still struggling to recover from the 2008 crisis, job losses among business leaders had reached a peak (59,275 ) to gradually go down again: 55,000 in 2016 then 50,011 in 2017.
