On International Women's Day, the "Women Leading Science" event was held at the "Peres Center for Peace and Innovation" in the framework of which approximately 120 female students who were evacuated from their homes in the settlements of Kiryat Shmona and Sderot participated, along with female students from Safed and Mashdod.
The event was done in collaboration with the Amit chain, the pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca, the Peres Center and the General Health Insurance Fund.
As part of the activity, the students were accompanied by about 50 female mentors in order to develop ventures related to the field of health.
Among the projects that were presented were an application that would allow for an anonymous complaint and response to those suffering from harassment in hotels, an application for parents with instructions for mental help during alarms, and more.
