Like their counterparts at SNCF, RATP controllers receive a bonus on the fines they issue.
According to our information, in the metro or RER, the officers who issue tickets receive, each month, 10% of the overall revenue from the fines drawn up by their team which were paid on site by users.
“We can have between 15 and 30 offenses per day.
And of these, between 20 and 40% are paid immediately,” explains an RATP agent anonymously.
According to several employees interviewed, it is however difficult to establish an average of this bonus, as the geographical area and the time of day influence the amounts received.
