“It pushes you to get tickets”: at the RATP, controllers receive 10% of revenue from fines

Like their counterparts at SNCF, RATP controllers receive a bonus on the fines they issue.

According to our information, in the metro or RER, the officers who issue tickets receive, each month, 10% of the overall revenue from the fines drawn up by their team which were paid on site by users.
