Lio has spoken out for women victims throughout his career, even mentioning it in his songs and on TV sets.
Raped herself at the age of 10, she had never publicly revealed the identity of her attacker, preferring to keep this known name quiet.

There are mornings (where) getting up and making coffee is the end of the world,” she explained before regretting her current relationship with her sister.
“Because a childhood with an incestuous stepfather – I am not afraid to say it today – also distanced me from my sister, because my stepfather is her father,” he said. -she continued.
And to have a few words about Christine Angot, also raped when she was young: “All this never ends.

Lio told his story precisely in March 2022, in the columns of Télé-Loisirs.
“I was raped by a relative when I was 10 years old in the back of my parents’ car.

In denial for many years, she then put words to this feeling: “No one has ever called it rape.
I put that word on it.”
A word which, once said, pronounced, upsets and interferes with the whole of life.
“Since then, nothing has happened,” she continued.
