The Association of State Workers (ATE) confirmed this Saturday a 48-hour strike in ports, airports and customs that
threatens to stop agroindustrial exports
.
The measure of force will be carried out next Tuesday and Wednesday.
The measure of force was confirmed by the general secretary of ATE, Rodolfo Aguiar, who released the statement questioning
Javier Milei
for threatening to fire 30% of Senasa's plant workers.
"Faced with the threat of applying a 30% cut to SENASA's functional plant, we have decided to initiate a forceful measure that will have a strong impact on the economy,
completely stop international trade in our country
, and we are not going to accept that we, the workers, be held responsible for the impact on exports. We are not going to allow illegal layoffs to be carried out," states the text that was sent to the new Secretary of Labor, Julio Cordero.
From ATE they warn that " all controls at ports, airports and customs
will be paralyzed
, as well as inspection at all zoophytosanitary barriers in the country."
NOW!!
2-DAY STOP IN SENASA WILL AFFECT EXPORTS
From ATE we are going to resist the cruelty of @jmilei and his government, which in the next few hours intends to fire tens of thousands of workers.
