A wind of change is blowing through the proven sector of nursing homes, these establishments dedicated to dependent elderly people.
This Tuesday, Clariane, one of the leaders of the sector in France and the owner of Korian, obtained 98% approval from its shareholders for a capital increase of 300 million euros intended to strengthen its equity.
A sign of confidence in the future of the group.
This capital increase could propel Crédit agricole assurances beyond the 24.75% it holds today.
At the major competitor Orpea, renamed Emeis, it is the group made up of the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations, CNP Assurances, Maif and MACSF which rose last December to 50.2% of the capital.
