Dozens of Olympic stamps since 1924

With this stamp, La Poste perpetuates an Olympic tradition, which wants each edition to have its own stamp.

The last Olympic Games in Paris, in 1924, were accompanied by four collector's stamps.

At the time, it was Notre-Dame and the Seine that were highlighted, as well as a woman holding a Victory and an athlete taking an oath.

For the 1968 Grenoble Winter Olympics, five stamps were published, paying tribute to several sports but also to the Olympic flame.

For Albertville in 1992, more than ten stamps were sold by La Poste.
