But it is also, from now on, the slogan repeated to French defense industries so that they switch to “war economy” mode.

The order comes from the very top, from the President of the Republic, head of the French armies.

A speech that seems to come out of the history books… and is a little scary, it must be admitted.

At the start of 2024, in Cherbourg (Manche), one of the three metropolitan naval bases with Toulon (Var) and Brest (Finistère), Emmanuel Macron takes advantage of his wishes to the armies to give this reminder to business leaders: “France has a meeting with its defense industry, an industry in war economy mode, not a slogan, no, but a faster and stronger production capacity.
