What was called “the McKinsey affair” is behind him… After the controversy over the amount of funding allocated each year to consulting firms, the State committed to reducing these expenses, and its use of external firms has was divided by three between 2021 and 2023. But it decided to go a step further by creating its own internal consulting agency.
Officially inaugurated this Tuesday within the Interministerial Directorate for Public Transformation (DITP), it already has 53 civil servant

consultants
”
– including some from the best schools and the most prestigious consulting firms –
“
with an appetite for public service
”
, underlined the Minister of Transformation and Public Service, Stanislas Guerini, in his inauguration speech.
The workforce will be increased to 75 by the end of the year.
For the minister, this new body reflects a
“
political will
”
on the part of the State to

rearm itself and reinvest in its own skills
