Highlights: Bpifrance and Ile-de-France plan to support around 150 businesses by the end of the year. A total of 20 million euros will be given to them. The money will be used to improve the quality of life in the region. The aim is to reduce the number of jobs lost due to climate change. The project is part of a larger plan to reduce carbon emissions in France. The plan is to make the region more sustainable by reducing the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere.

Bpifrance and the Ile-de-France region plan to financially support around 150 companies by the end of the year.

Because the ecological transition of businesses is “essential”, underlines Jérôme Bouquet, director of the Bpifrance Paris region network, it is high time to support those ready to take the path.

Also, the public investment bank decided to join forces with the Ile-de-France region to offer a dedicated loan.

This recently launched system plans to grant between 10,000 and 500,000 euros of financing to VSEs and SMEs by the end of the year, for a total envelope of 20 million euros.

Enough to help nearly 150 regional businesses.

The initiative is a continuation of the energy performance diagnostics that Bpifrance has been encouraging to carry out for three years with Ademe.

Depending on the needs, this can be the Diag Eco-Flux, to eliminate waste in energy, water, materials and waste, or the Diag Décarbon'Action and Ecodesign, to reduce the carbon impact and the environmental impact of products , services and processes.

“Nearly 600 SMEs will use it in 2023,” notes the director, who highlights a level “beyond our forecasts”, especially since these diagnostics cost them 4,000 euros.

More than 1,000 are expected to be carried out this year.
