Roquette heads for the pharmacy. The discreet family group, specialist in plant ingredients, has until now carried out 80% of its activity in the agri-food industry, where it supplies manufacturers with ingredients for candies, protein bars or plant-based steaks.
The acquisition of the American IFF Pharma Solutions, valued at $2.85 billion, rebalances its activity in favor of a sector three times more profitable and with

: pharmacy. This last area will now account for 40% of its 5 billion euros in turnover, or double its current weight. IFF Pharma Solutions alone achieves nearly 1 billion euros in turnover, and adds a thousand employees to the 10,000 that Roquette already had.
