Hacking of France Travail, between February 6 and March 5, 2024, with leak of 43 million personal data of job seekers over the last twenty years. Cyberattack on the Armentières hospital center, during the weekend of February 10, forcing it to temporarily close its emergency rooms. The Hauts-de-France establishment had the medical records of more than 300,000 patients stolen. Last August, the Corbeil-Essonnes hospital suffered the same fate.
According to the National Information Systems Security Agency (Anssi), 187 incidents affected local authorities between January 2022 and June 2023, or an average of ten incidents per month. In its “Data Threat” report, published in mid-March, Thales reports a 27% increase in companies falling victim to a ransomware attack in 2023.
