The most sophisticated cars already offer their owners the ability to charge their smartphone without using a wire, by induction. The phone, placed in the central storage compartment, equipped with a dedicated device, gently raises the battery level.
The new Valeo Ineez Air Charging system offers an identical solution, but for the battery of an electric vehicle. This solution without a cable connected to the terminal uses an ultra-low frequency, around 3 kHz. It required two years of work by a team of around ten engineers from the French equipment manufacturer Valeo, at the forefront of innovation. She alone has 25 registered patents.
