The head of the ANSeS, Mariano de los Heros, reported this Thursday that the supplement
to the salaries of retirees will be paid starting April 17.
In this way, the official set a date for the
split that had been announced for the payment of pensions,
on the one hand, and the bonus and increases on the other, as a result of the delays in the publication of the rules that regulated the increments.
As had been anticipated by Clarín, the head of the organization confirmed the measure before the deputies of the Social Security commission.
The Government had made the decision to pay in two installments to
"not delay the beneficiaries' access to their assets
." There will be a first settlement corresponding to the April 2024 credit and a second, within the same month, corresponding to the increase for pension mobility and the pension reinforcement of $70,000.
This means that in April, those who collect the minimum retirement will receive a first payment of $134,445 gross according to the usual schedule. It will be the same asset as in March. Then, starting April 17, the bonus and the increase for mobility will be added, to bring the minimum to $171,283 plus the bonus of $70,000, to complete a total income of $241,283.
During his presentation, De los Heros highlighted that 87% of the total pension holders granted by moratorium receive the minimum income. While he stressed that, of the people with at least 30 years of contributions,
only 6% earn the minimum.
