The price of gold in the local markets decreased by 12 thousand pounds per gram, compared to yesterday's price.
According to the bulletin issued by the Craft Society for Crafting and Jewelry Making in Damascus today, the price of a gram of 21-carat gold, selling 182,000 Syrian pounds, and the purchase price of 181500 pounds, while the price of a gram of 18-carat gold sold reached 156 thousand pounds and the purchase price is 155,500 pounds.
The association asked the craftsmen to adhere to the price it issued. It also called on citizens wishing to buy gold not to pay the price of gold except in accordance with the bulletin issued by the association and distributed telephone numbers for complaints 2230766 and 2248005.
