The Support and Development of Local Production and Exports Authority signed today a cooperation agreement with the Federation of Arab Exporters and Importers, the "Regional Office in Syria" aimed at establishing direct contacts between Syrian and Arab businessmen in the various economic, commercial, industrial and service fields to stimulate inter-trade and open new markets to Syrian products.
The agreement includes encouraging participation in public and internal and external exhibitions, conferences, seminars and promotional campaigns for export-oriented companies, qualifying workers in the field of marketing and export, and organizing trade missions within the framework of integrated promotional programs that include arranging direct meetings between Arab businessmen and exporters to introduce national products while providing possible facilities for participation in events And economic activities that are held in the Arab countries.
In a press statement between the Authority’s Director, Dr. Ibrahim Maidah, the importance of the agreement in terms of exchanging economic and commercial information and periodic and annual releases related to other international markets and providing possible facilities for Syrian and Arab businessmen delegations to establish direct relations between exporters in the Arab countries and work to develop appropriate means and formulas to stimulate trade exchange between them Especially providing the mechanisms and means to improve the quality of local products.
In a similar statement, the head of the regional office, Dr. Hassan Jawad, stressed the necessity of networking with Arab and foreign organizations and bodies, pointing to the regional office's endeavor to develop Arab exports, stimulating intra-trade and opening new markets to the local production support and development committee, holding exhibitions, economic forums, seminars and qualifying training courses to stimulate and cultivate experiences with the authorities Which would like to export in addition to inviting friendly countries to invest in Syria.
