The popular Egyptian singer Sha'ban Abd a-Rahim, nicknamed "Sha'bula", passed away - and he is only 62 years old. Abdel-Rahim became famous for his popular songs, which dealt with a variety of political issues, but the song that published him most was "I Hate Israel" which came out in 2000 and caused a storm. It gained tremendous popularity mainly thanks to the combination of a popular and connected public figure, and simple song lyrics that everyone connected with. He used to dress in color, and he had a great affection for his colorful character. In recent years he has appeared in Saudi Arabia, but lately his health has deteriorated.
About two years ago, he wrote a song called "Trump went completely crazy." Among other things, he wrote in his poem: "Trump needs a cage. He should be careful. What is the connection between you and Jerusalem? You are a terrible and terrible person. Jerusalem will be Arab until Judgment Day. Where's the jihad? " Shebula also released a song after Obama's victory, attacking the leaders of the Arab states who greeted the former US president with his election.
The singer has also previously written an admiration song for former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak before he was ousted, a protest song against the execution of Iraqi President Saddam Hussein and songs that attacked American policy. Another song that added popularity was "Stop Smoking".
